Have you ever wondered why that Baba in your area you were told he once had money and luxuries of life now living below average?
Of course, we all have that one Alhaji, Deacon, or Chief in our hood who had money and a fleet of cars but now walking around because things are not what they used to be for him.
Look at those older people who dismally failed with money. Those who blew free money from an inheritance, those who blew their retirement funds carelessly, and those who made a lot of money quickly and spend it lavishly. If you want to succeed with money, these are the people you should look for and learn from. They all have their different reasons why they blew that money and something they all wish they didn't do and these should be your focus. This is what will put you 50 steps ahead of the rest because where they've failed, you're going to thrive. When they said you need to experience something before you can know it, they didn't mean you should personally and physically go through it. Experience can also be seen. You learn by seeing. You learn with your ears.. By hearing!
They won't teach you all these in an economics or business classes. They don't teach things that matter in school. Things like the understanding of how money works, stock exchange, shares, and others. So, if you want to become “Bolakale”, you must put in the effort by yourself.
Learn from the failure of others so that you can rise where they fall. Yoruba ni “Ogbon ologbon lafin kun ogbon eni, ati wipe agba tojin si koto, o ko ara yokun logbon ni.”
This is another weekend. I pray that when God finally blesses us, kama fola pitan.

Being on screen that day rekindled and revitalized this passion, and I embodied it with so much energy. I also had a gush of so much nostalgic feelings about my flair for the media. Throughout my undergraduate days, I served as a campus journalist across different capacities and volunteered as a trainee journalist at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) during my 200 level holiday. Since my SSS days, I’ve always admired TV personalities like the late vete...
